The Ducks and Kings will face off tonight in a Pacific league battle, and logically, if this was a real life situation, I'd bet all my money on the Kings to defeat the Ducks, if you know what I mean. Anyway, these two teams from out West are both drifting two game losing streaks, and are looking for an answer to shake it up. Although the Kings are the home team favorites, per say, Anaheim is not to far away from LA and I'd anticipate Anaheim fans to make up a good portion of the crowd tonight, which could give them the edge to secure a victory. After all, Vegas is predicting Anaheim to win, as they are -102 favorites, which means this game is going to be uber close and tight. This game is also projected to be fairly offensive, with an O/U of 5.5.

With all respect to Anaheim, it's fair to say they are the definition of a mediocre team in this 2018 season. By no means are they one of the best teams in the NHL nor are they one of the underdogs. Anaheim's team has been shaken up with a countless amount of injuries, which is why they are positioned where they are. But, now they are basically back to even strength. Getzlaf, who has only partook in 19 games this season leads the team in assists at 20, and Rakell is their leading goal scorer with 15 on the year. I'd anticipate these two guys to put up all the points tonight against the Kings.

The Kings have had an amazing year thus far, as they just surpassed the half way mark in points. Currently, they are second place in the Pacific division, only trailing to the Vegas Golden Knights by 7 points, and as of now, it looks very favoring for them to secure a playoff position. Look out for Dustin Brown tonight against the Ducks because he has scored 4 consecutive goals against them. Kopitar and Cammalleri also heated up against the Ducks in recent years.
