SteemSports Presenter/Editor: Scott Frank,
The Green Bay Packers got devastating news today as superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers may be lost for the season with a broken collarbone. Rodgers was hurt in the first quarter as the Packers were playing at the Minnesota Vikings.
This is not the first time that Rodgers has suffered from this injury. The time table for his return is uncertain but there is a chance that he will not play again until next year. What a shame for a team that has Super Bowl aspirations.
Brett Hundley is the Packers second string quarterback and he was thrown into action today. Hundley went 18-33 for 157 yards on the day. He did throw 1 touchdown but was intercepted 3 times in the 23-10 loss to the Vikings. Hundley was a 5th round pick out of UCLA in the 2015 draft but has barely played.
Will Hundley be the quarterback option for the rest of the season? Or does this possibly get former Cowboy, Tony Romo, out of the broadcast booth and back on the field? The Packers are built to win now and that scenario sure would be fun to watch. Or will Colin Kaepernick’s name be thrown around as another possibility?
That's pretty much the end of Green Bay this season.
The season was off to such a good start! Lame!
nice work keep it up sir
So much for the predictions he would be the NFL MVP this season...
That'll definitely put a damper on Randall Cobb's numbers for my Fantasy team this year.
