RE: NBA Preview: Lakers vs. Suns

Josh Hart gives great effort & has been a major spark for this team. Why GM's would rather gamble on unknown overseas talent in the late 1st, early second round, (who half the time don't even end up playing on the team), still blows my mind.

Kyle Kuzma & Josh Hart, both 4 year college players are likely the two biggest steals of the draft.

When will these GM's learn?! They should have learned there lesson after the 2012 Draft, i.e Draymond Green.

I know it has been perplexing me why GM's didn't take Kuzma earlier, but Hart is looking like an incredible player too! The Lakers have had an amazing eye for talent in the later draft picks, if you look at Jordan Clarkson too. Yea the overseas thing is interesting, but I think an aspect of it is that overseas players are brought up with good fundamentals and there's an emphasis on sharing the ball. A lot of second rounders end up being squandered in the G-League too. Overall, the draft can be a crapshoot even at the very top. I read a good article by Bill Simmons on it while we were in the middle of the hype of the 2014 draft. Check it out below if you have some reading time!
