I did my NYSC youth service in Abia state, and I have to say the city of Aba has to be the most polluted place on the planet with plastic waste.
Quite frankly, I don't see how Nigeria can solve this problem, because it has been on for decades, and businesses are making a killing from the sale of these plastic bags.
And the policy makers, well we have a history of inept leaders, who find themselves in the position of power but lack the capacity to deliver.
Now, how can we fix this problem?
A lot of variables to consider, and a lot of diligence to see it through and if necessary, brute force for defaulters. It's always had a way of shaking things up since i could remember my name.
