I can't but agree with what you said, but maybe that's cos of lack of opposing argument in the comment section. But from what I can tell, putting genomic data on blockchains seems like just one more of those "let's put everything on blockchains" ideas. The immutability and transparency and 'eggs in many baskets' aspects of it are clear pluses tho.
