It is a wonderful article. I'm from Chennai. The second image in this article shows how it affected the coastlines in Chennai. Do you know if there is any proper mechanism on how to clean it up? When this happened in Chennai, I saw people carrying buckets in hand to clean this tons and tons of oil spill.
It looked very bad and people started to question Government for their stupid measures to clean the oil. If we go to the coastal region, we will be able to still see some traces of Oil left uncleaned in the shores even after one year. Lots of Turtles and other living beings were found dead. That was really sad.
