RE: Wireless Power Transfer - is the future really WIRE-less...? 📡 Final Chapter

in #steemstem7 years ago

I am just finishing reading your article and am amazed at how much information i have benefited from it. The transfer of power wirelessly in a continuous development and this will benefit humanity a lot, I think that in the future we will not need electric wires to transmit energy and this will help even in the economic side but what worries is the biological impact of electromagnetic waves on living organisms, I read that the World Health Organization classifies radio electromagnetic radiation into the group 2b (wich means Can cause cancer).
Thank you for this good article full of informations :)

Since the very beginning of our electricity era, Nikola Tesla had the dream to transmit power without wires..! Its unfortunate that after more than a century passed, we r still using wired connection everywhere. The major obstacle of this tech is the efficiency and biological impact of the radiation. Yes, this radiation can cause cancer and can even lead to death.
Hopefully we will soon overcome those and can connect the universe without wires..!!

Thanks for ur valuable thoughts..!

i hope so :) , thankx

Tesla experimented with inductive and capacitive coupling and later proposed a system called World Wireless System where he intended to use Earth and its atmosphere as electrical conductors. The construction of the system started in 1901, but all investments were spent by 1904 and the system was never completed :(
