Over time, a good health has been an essential commodity for a comfortable life. Reason being that, good health aids outstanding performance. This has led to a health-conscious people who love to know the content of what they eat. This isn't surprising since you are what you eat.
The advent of Gaining consciousness of the content of what you eat also led to a generation of eating natural food then eating organic food followed.
Cashew tree produces a fruit and a seed(nut) which are both edible. The soft part is called the Apple while the seed is called Cashew nut. Cashew apple becomes red or yellow in color when ripe.

Nutritional and Health Benefits
First, you must know that a large daily intake of cashew can lead to constipation because of its low-fiber content. Therefore, you shouldn't overdo it.
Consumption of cashew apple and nut reduces the rate of being liable to diseases of the heart. Its presence of unsaturated fats is useful in lowering the cholesterol in the heart.
Also, the Folic acid present and some vitamins fight diseases of the heart. It also contains no cholesterol, therefore, blood circulation is never hindered.
The presence of proanthocyanins in cashew helps in suppressing cancerous cells from replicating themselves. Also, the copper available in cashew reduces cell mutation and helps in preventing bone inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis and injuries. This can only be done alongside the magnesium content of the fruit.

This fruit and its nut can be eaten by a consumer on a weight loss plan. The copper content helps to break down fat rather than it being stored in the animal's body. Other minerals like zinc, magnesium, copper and some protein present in cashew can aid fat metabolism, thereby replacing fats found in obese people's belly.
Eating Cashew reduces the rate of oxidation which leads to damage of the cell, it then neutralizes radicals due to the presence of antioxidants (vitamin A&K). Anacardic acid which is an extract from cashew is used as an antioxidant which prevents aging.
Lowers the risk of having Gallstones, which are formed when cholesterol hardens. Cashew consumers can be exempt from this. Cashew juice can be used for the cure of dysentery and an anti-diarrheal. Grounded cashew nut can be used for snake bites.
Cashew has equally got good packs of eye protective contents like lutein, zeaxanthin which prevents damages to the eye from excessive exposure to light.
Cashew consumption reduces the risk of type-2 diabetes, boost bone formation, Red blood cell production which reduces the chances of anemia, enhances fertility & oral health, enhances normal activities of the liver, adequate skin protection, fight against a migraine and enables proper testosterone production.
