In my area no one would support new lanes, the bicycle lanes only get used a few months a year and I don't know if e bikes and cyclists would get along. Cars and ebikes probably wont mix either. We have nice bike trails here but I think motorized vehicles are banned though I think rules are more against dirtbikes rather than e bikes. Society should adapt to new modes of transport everything being banned is lame.
