This is a controversial topic expected and direct to the work force around the world, and I want everyone to understand every bit of what am trying to portray. Actually, Nigeria is used as a case study
Experience is the accumulation of knowledge or skill that results from direct participation in events or activities while Idea is the content of cognition; the main thing you are thinking about, your intention; what you intend to do or a personal view about something and how it's done.
There is the saying that says, experience is the best teacher, however overtime, we will continue to remain in one spot if we don't try new ideas about a particular thing or how it's been done. In order words, to achieve development, new views and opinions are needed on such occasion.
Many times, new ideas come from people who has no experience in the 'job' and the 'experienced guys' will shut them up saying they can't know more than them-so painful.
Ideas they say rules the world, if new ideas don't come, how do we develop. The young minds and potential future leaders are on the street looking for jobs just because the company or employer is looking for someone with the so-called numbered years of working experience, they are not ready to have new ideas come to them. Many businesses crumble under the experienced ones, however one cannot limit the role of having experience in skills acquisition.
In our nation Nigeria, the youth are not given quite enough chance to give their ideas in the political space or possibly have access to public positions. That's more of the reasons we are still a Third World country . For instance, I was opportunied to watch the advert video of a popular Tea brand(Lipton) in Nigeria, in which a carpenter who was skillful at making furnitures was trying to get is son to work on his own styles but the son has other amazing designs which the father was very elited to see. All in all, the new designs was what made the carpenter and his son to becoming a rich brand in the furniture business.
Experience is meant to mentor new ideas and upcoming young minds but training should invlove the evolving of new skills that could develop individuals into an entirely different person in the right course though. We are deem for success if only we try new things and break new grounds which only new ideas can help achieving. For instance, implanting and genetic engineering of genes to improve the quality of some species of plants and animals has been a break through achievement in science, if we don't practice the unheard-of, how do we improve or develop.
On a more personal note, some find it difficult experiencing new things but experience is a good thing to have has a young individual. The human race has thrived by both trying new things (risk taking behavior) and sticking to the tried and true (risk avoidant behavior). Both are natural instincts, but in some people, one instinct overpowers the other. Find a partner who has same ideas or background with you, a person who will help and encourage you to try new experiences. Remind yourself that everything you love now was once new to you! Think realistically of the worst that could happen when trying something new, and realize that you can handle even the worst! Allow yourself to take baby steps towards new activities instead of jumping in with both feet.
In conclusion, experience is important in the monitoring and mentoring of ideas not to stop them from emerging.

"The youth are the leaders of tomorrow" this is yet to materialise in Nigeria. The same set of people are recycled year in,year out while young and refreshed minds still looking for jobs in the streets since there is no experience. No one was born with experience, once upon a time the said experienced hands were once apprentice or novice but were given opportunities to be trained in the course of the job. Good post @grapemaster
