Water is probably the most important resource on earth. Our body is approximately 60% of water, our brain is 70% of water in fact, we could only live for a few days without drinking water. We also need water to grow plants and care for animals, cook our food, bathe, brush our teeth, flush the toilet and wash our clothes.

HOW WE USE WATER

Some uses of water are:

  • HOUSEHOLD
    Uses:
    Wash clothes.
    Wash dishes.
    To turn off an accidental flame.
  • RECREATIONAL
    Uses:
    Used in swimming pool.
    Used in tub.
  • PERSONAL ACTIVE
    Uses:
    To drink when thirsty.
    To take shower

  • Water allow the body cells to grow, reproduce and survive.
  • Water flushes the body waste, mainly in urine.

  • Water needed by the brain to manufacture hormones and neurotransmitter.
  • Water regulates the body temperature (sweating and respiration)
  • Water acts as a shock absorber for brain and spinal cord.
  • Water convert foods to components needed for survival digestion.
  • Water also help to deliver oxygen all over the body.
