Thank very much for this post, and for bringing such an important topic to light. It is amazing how much we take for granted in this part of the world. I connect with this post at least tangentially on a personal level, as the obstetrician who brought both of my children into the world also takes regular sabbaticals to teach emergency childbirth techniques doctors and medical instructors in the developing world.
