The clarity of the glaciers made me look and look again cos it's clear as crystals.
@ruth-girl, I have a question for it formation you said here...
Moist air from the sea that meets the mountains on its way starts moving upwards, freezes over and precipitates as rain and snow
Can this still form during the summer weather in the day? (sunlight) Or can form in any whether condition?
Rain can happen that way, but I doubt there are so low temperatures to see snow up there in the summer :)
