That was awesome lab work @nataschachem, testing a flash point of fuel. Are you testing a crude oil or the oil with different concetration of octane
Thank you for reading and commenting. We test various fuels and oils, this was an example of an unknown machine oil.
Weren't there any easier ways to determine its machine origins? Or it was the entire point of your experiment?
Point of my experiment was to determine the flash point of the oil, in order to know whether it is safe to use in machines and engines at elevated temperatures (without burning). It's a standardized method that is used, as I mentioned ...
