It's really interesting!
I'm just studying CRISPR and amazed by the way such a tiny organizm can operate complicated and delicate system. The most amazing thing is that it's remembering any viral ancounter (whith it survived ofcourse) and pass it afterwards.

CRISPR is not an organism :)

We are using one protein (Cas9) from the "bacterial innate immune system" (CRISPR). So CRISPR is actually a defense mechanism.

Of course! I meant the bacteria is a tiny organism which has such an amazing immune system
