INTRODUCTION
Man's unhygienic behavior has been a contributory factor to her debilitating health condition. Ever since time immemorial man's health has continuously been dealt a big blow by various diseases and disease causing organism. Some of these disease are known to have gone extinct but after a long while they emerge again. Ebola an infectious disease is known to have emerge yet again hence the need to enlighten the populace about it.
First of all let's discuss on what emerging are,
Emerging disease are infectious disease that has just showed up in a given population or diseases with past historical record / knowledge which is rapidly increasing in a particular geographical area.
Ebola is a rare disease that is caused by an infection with Just one of the Ebola virus strains. it is a very deadly disease formerly known as Ebola hemorrhagic fever. It is caused by an infection with a virus of the family Filoviridae and the genus known as Ebola virus.

Ebola virus was firstly discovered in 1976 in Democratic Republic of Congo near a river known as Ebola river before it then spread in some African countries. Researchers on the basis of nature of similar viruses and evidence which is the fact that virus are animal-borne stated that Ebola has animals as its natural reservoir especially bats.
Nigeria as a country got attacked by Ebola virus on the 6th of August 2014 through a man named Patrick Sawyer (a Liberian -American) which after being infected came in contact with about 20 people of which 8 of them died.
MODE OF TRANSMISSION
ebola virus is transmitted via contacts (I.e, through close and direct contact) with an infected person's body fluids such as blood, urine, vomit, faeces, breast milk, semen.

*Do not come in contact with an infected corpse of an Ebola patient and his body fluids.
*Stay clear off any facilities where Ebola patient are being treated.
*Always practice proper hygiene, use sanitizers, wash your hands with soap and water.
*Avoid contacts with animals such as bats, their raw meat and body fluids too.
*Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) during the treatment of infected patient.
