RE: Breathing New Life into Old Biological Studies with GIS

Interesting read!

I know a coin that can help spatial data, it is called Streamer Data coin
( DATA) and it aims to monetize data and make it more accessible to implement in real-time applications!

I love how interesting lost information is and i often wonder how much knowledge humanity has lost in the eons since we first put quill to scroll?

I find that knowledge can be suppressed due to the scientific communities beliefs. The new research may contradict more influential researchers and their findings, thus it is discredited through pure selfishness and at a great loss to humanity.

I found an article that talked about how some German scientists found a book from the late 1800's on the brain. The researcher had described in depth, a missing link between the cerebellum and the frontal cortex.

However, this researchers findings contradicted the widely held scientific views at the time and he was painted as a charlotten.

The Research that had been lost to time for over 130 years, enriched our current knowledge and took away much uncertainty in this field.

Interesting on the Streamr concept, I am glad to hear that more options for data preservation are popping up! It seems to focus on real-time data like traffic, but I bet it could be expanded for other types of data. Thanks for the comment!
