@ememovic I ove this topic mainly because it freaks me out. Firstly just to remnid you about your post before about supercomputers and super conductors.
Imagine if we create super computer, even quantum super comupters that use super conductors to transmit information, so there is no heat production and minimal information lost; only that associated with quantum fluctuations.
Now let's add an AI to the mix, if it is truely AI in the sense it decides to choose to solve its own problems then we have something that can potentially change the world, in an instant.
On the negative side it could hack nuclear launch codes in a fraction of a second. There are a list of other crazy things like that but theres no need to state the obvious here.
On the plus side it could solve the hardest problems in science within seconds and potentially take us to a new level of civilisation.
If something like this happens we must be very careful because the hardest thing we can imagine possible can be solved by these things instantly.
Taking it to the extreme it may try to implent it's self within the human body/brain through merging robatics and biology.
Honestly guys this is so crazy it blows my mind, and we are on the cusp of being able to implement it.
Oh my! This would have been a full steemit post.
It's unfortunate that we are more focused on the positive side of AI, there's no denying the fact that AI would solve complex problems with the help of Quantum Computers and evolve the world but we should also be cautious of the disadvantages. As you mentioned, in the wrong hands, it could be used to hack nuclear launch codes, that could be a disaster and a threat to human race, so we really need to be careful.
It's a privilege to have such a rich comment beneath my post, I wish I've got enough steem power to upvote this comment. Well done and keep steeming.👍
Thanks a lot. I'm glad you liked the comment, there is more to come.
Full STEEM ahead!
