This looks like a lot of trial and error before finding the correct behaviours.

I also find it amazing at how equations are able to predict things that we have not yet discovered in nature!

This is what research is at the end of the day. We try, construct a theory that works, refine it, and so on. This is also the reason why it is exciting. We have so many open doors for the future!
