Greetings from Steem Summit organizers!
Twenty-six (26) days ago, Steem Summit made a call for Art Submissions. But because there are only 3 submissions before the deadline, it was extended until April 6, 2018. The response was overwhelming! There are 11 entries submitted under Art Category. The organizers would like to thank everyone who submitted their entries. You guys were awesome!
The organizers would also like to thank @donkeypong for his donation in all of the prizes for Steem Summit submissions. Also, the hard work of the panelists who scored and rank the entries based on the criteria should be commended. Thank you panelists! Your names will be revealed on the summit proper.
The scores are tabulated using Google Sheet, so it is readily available for anyone who wishes to contest the winners. It is also available for perusal in the spirit of transparency; a value that the organizers upheld with highest regard. A gentle reminder, the panelists are under no obligation to explain their reason why the winners are chosen to be that way. Besides, the score of each entry is the average of the three total scores given by the panelists. We hope that everyone is on board with this.
Here are the winners of Steem Summit's Art Submissions to be showcased in the exhibit:
I couldn't help it but my heart felt a sudden pain and my eyes almost come to tears. I wonder how did these children deserve this kind situation in their life. Yes, I know, we know, that it's not their fault that they were born like that, but it would be their fault if they grow old and die being in the same kind of situation.
Painting dancers have a challenge to them you need to exude motion, find the point where the dancer just projects herself in a way that it also seems like she could move unto the next step in her dance. I wanted the dancers to not only be interpreted as three sisters but could also be seen as one dancer gracefully captured as she goes from one position into the other.

I have known my strengths and weaknesses,

I have known my priorities,
And I have known my happiness.
I had a photo of this that was taken last 2016 in Sirao Flower Garden Busay Cebu City. I painted this because it represents how many beautiful places we had in our beloved place CEBU. Dubbed as the mini -Amsterdam of Cebu, Sirao Flower Garden is one of the most visit attractions in Cebu. A huge part of the Garden is blooming with Celosia flowers which comes in yellow, fuschia, and orange; and is surprisingly creating a surreal landscape.

Exhibit Manager's Note: The panelists had a hard time in choosing the winners. It can be observed in the scores and from the fact that there's a tie. I decided to reward both because those two are deserving. An extra 3 SBD is nothing compared to the artworks submitted. Thank you for your entries everyone!
