Hard work and +250 hours of graft..!!

Earlier, I received a comment from @wolfnworbeikood asking how I go about inviting people to the platform.

For those that may have missed the comment and my reply, here they are.....

Also where do you direct beginners to learn about the platform?Just wanted to know how you go about inviting people to the platform as i am active in bringing people aboard as well but find it challenging at times with having to delegate my own power! Wondering if there was a better method...we are in the mist of putting together our #steempoweredtour with intentions in bringing our collective of independent blockchain artist desired cities / countries. We intend on raising much awareness and possibly hold work shops to inform people of #steemit!!

My reply.....

Hard work. So far there has been 54 #steemtalent Open Invitations that have gone out and what most people may not realise is that behind these is roughly about 250 hours of hard work..!! On average each Open Invitation has approx 5 hours of background work on Twitter. Promoting and educating people about #Steemit. Since kicking off #steemtalent 25 days ago, I have spent on average 10 hours a day on twitter..!! For me it is very simple, you have to put the hours in and work damn hard. Stephen

Work behind the scenes

I guess what some people don't appreciate is the sheer volume of work that goes on in the background.

With this hard work, it still leaves me amazed at the lost opportunity the Community has had by letting these Open Invitations slip through its fingers..!!

Golden Opportunity

I have repeatedly said that I strongly believe that the #Steemit Community has missed a Golden Opportunity with these #steemtalent Open Invitations through lack of appetite to want to promote the platform.

With the exception of just a handful of users that have retweeted these Open Invitations on twitter, I have simply been left dumbfounded as to why only a few have pushed these invitations onto their feeds.

Trust me, you wouldn't want me to share this

It is this feeling of dumbfound that I believe I know the reason and trust me, you wouldn't want me to share this..!!

Off to drum up some more business.

Thanks again for reading.

Stephen

You are right @stephenkendal it is really challenging project and I know the hard working and effort behind the scene. Your every project got success due to you and your passion for #promo-steem and now in **#steemtalent is awesome. I really appreciate your major part in this scenario.

Thank you. Stephen

We owe you a lot @stephenkendal for the amount of hard work you put into promoting Steemit to the #steemtalent campaign... Wish you all the success!

Thank you. I really appreciate it. It is a real shame that there are not more that feel the same as you. Thanks again for the continued support. Stephen

Really sir you have much patience as you have spent on average 10 hours on twitter for inviting some great talent to join steemit. Your great work will be successful and I hope in the coming days we will get more talent in our community.

I just wanted to ask a question. You did a good job @stephenkendal by promoting steemit throug twitter. We have to do this too . Letting people know about steemit and how the blockchain works.

From 54 invitations, how many of them accepted and joined steemit?

From 54 invitations, how many of them accepted and joined steemit?

I am getting quite a few now saying that their account applications are being processed and they may have to wait 1-3 weeks for approval. Emails have been approved, there just appears to be a backlog of verifying emails. Stephen

Ow, that's good. Let us know when they are in the game so that we can welcome them.

it is all happening becuase of your efforts to make steemit a place filled with talented people, working together and making living through sharing their ideas, work, skills and tricks.
All of your efforts must pay you back somehow and hard work always pas of.

We are here supporting you on steemit as well as on twitter by retweeting to our followers and more.
Thank you
GOD BLESS YOU Just don't stress yourself so much sir @stephenkendal.

Good post.

great info,thank for that✌😘

Have you heard of the steeminvite service? It's a website you can use to create steem accounts by sending email invitations to friends and paying a small fee for them to create accounts. I haven't used it, but it seems like a good solution to the wait time problem, and at relatively low cost.
