I am very excited to see steem projects such as steemQ for video and Zappl for microblogging
These projects will be great for delivering content and rewarding artists and users
I have been thinking that it would be great to see a steem app just for music, similar to soundcloud or mixcloud etc
The simple idea is that tracks are free to listen and an upvote allows you to download the track and add to a playlist
As we all know the old music business model is dead and most people will not pay for music anymore, some crypto projects have created platforms that take out the middle man but still require some form of payment to download or even play the track.
Steemit rewards the artist and fans simply by voting!
Steemit does not fail to surprise me so i am sure there are some talented steemians that could make this happen, it would change the music business forever!!
Yeah the more applications on Steem the better. It would be nice to know how many people are working on developing different applications for Steem.

Are you thinking separate app but similar layout and function, just focused on music?
Artist would get paid in the same manner, post and generate interactions and downloads?
It seems to me, like your on to something. Now all you need is someone with the know how.

This is a great idea. This gives Artists a way to earn cash without signing contracts and changing their style. If their music is loved it will reflect and increase their earnings. So are you going to get this going? because if not.. I'm already doing the research...
