This in tandem (stem cells) with 3D printing means the Future is already is hear. For people with spinal injuries, lost limbs, war veterans(IED) and any one with deformity's. I think it will get to stage where 3d printing won't need separate printing process's for bone and tissue but long way off yet i still see a future where you put in a cartridge labelled bone, ligaments or cartilage. You probably more likely then to have tissue printers as well and maybe just maybe convergence of technology.
These are just two link that just amaze me and this paragraph is just my own view on where 3D will go in the future.
