Driving could be so interesting especially when you are a newbie in the system..
As a beginner, there are some important things that are found inside the car that we really can't do without if we must drive. And these are the steering, accelerator, break, clutch, gear, trafficator e.t.c
THE IMPORTANT PARTS AND FUNCTIONS
*THE STEERING : the steering is used to control or direct the movement of the car E.g when the car is moving, if you want the car to move towards the left, you carefully turn the steering to the left, and if you want the car to move to the right, you carefully turn the steering to the right. THEREFORE.. The steering is to control the direction of the car.
*ACCELERATOR :this is a Devise for increasing speed. When you apply the accelerator while the car is moving, the speed of the car increases, therefore, the major work of the accelerator pedal is to steam the car, charge the battery, set the car on motion and to increase the speed of the car when the car is moving.
*BREAK : the break is applied to stop or reduce the speed of a moving car. When the car is moving, if there is a need to reduce the speed of the car, you match the break gently to the middle point. And if there is a need for an emergency break, you match the pedal to the end point.
*CLUTCH :we have a clutch pedal in a car with a manual gear system. With the clutch pushed down, you can start the car when the gear is not on neutral point or line. And when the gear is on neutral point, you can start the car without clutching down. So when the car is ON (steaming), before you select the gear, you have to clutch down properly before selecting any of the gear. When you select the gear, release the clutch gently to the moving point on the clutch system using your left leg and with your right leg on the accelerator pedal. The car will begin to move gently..
*TRAFFICATOR: this is a traffic indicator.. It is a flashing light or other device on a vehicle used to show the direction in which it is about to turn to.
*GEAR: we have two types of gear system, namely.. Authomatic and manual.
With the Authomatic gear, you have only two pedals below your foot, namely... Accelerator and Break.
In the manual gear system, we have two types namely.... Floor and hand manual gear system.
THE Floor gear is the gear found between the two front seats ::the drivers seat and the passenger's seat.
While the HAND gear is found near the car steering.
We also have some Authomatic gears that are found near the steering and is also known as a hand gear. Both gears are all the same in selection.....
