I was wondering if you have included black holes because I keep reading only in the end I found you mentioned them :)
Black holes are indeed one of the most dangerous object there is in the universe, I wonder if those wandering black holes have consumed things like extraterrestrials spaceships? It must be the words nightmare to be exploring the space and suddenly finding one of those black holes.
And about the great attractor I also thought about a super massive black hole, but to thing it is something we have yet to discover is much more intriguing. This is something that future generations will have to figure it out.
This is an interesting thought, a very interesting one; but I guess we will never know.
What really concerns me is that a wandering black hole has been found in our Milky Way galaxy, this might be a much larger concern for future generation i.e after they confront the challenge of finding a sustainable and habitable planet. Or find a way to successfully manage Earth and all the challenges it is currently faced with.
