So between the space of June 25th to June 27th I discovered and learnt some really cool stuff I would love to share with us.
Monday June 25th: Automated Manual Transmission Cars
Cars with Manual and automatic transmission has the ability for you to be able to change gear and at the same time leave the car to change gear by itself as it accelerates
Brief explanation of the kind of engines that have this technology
This kind of cars has either the DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) or CVT (Constantly Variable Transmission) or the Simple Automatic Transmission engine in it.
This type of engines use gear and clutch arrangement and it is complex and far different from the normal conventional Manual Gear box.
Automated manual transmission engine uses the same gear setup as the manual transmission engine but the difference is the way of operation.
The manual transmission engine has gear lever and clutch pedal inside the car which is manually operated but the automated manual transmission cars has hydraulic actuator systems inside the engine that operate both the clutch and gear changing, the actuator is connected to the electronic controller unit of the car that provides the input and output goes to the gears and clutch.
Advantages and disadvantages of the Automated Manual Transmission Cars
Advantages
- Economy:
The automated manual transmission cars helps is saving fuel. It uses hatchbacks and the shifting style is programmed in a way that maximum fuel efficiency is prioritized.
- Convenience:
You can just decide to relax your left leg and hand then you allow the automatic mode to take over and at the same time you might love driving manually and just take charge if the car again but the convenience is the fact that when you are tired of the manual method you can relax in cases of long journey.
Disadvantages
- The Gear shift Jerks:
The gear shift is not consistent, sometimes it is normal and other time it jerks annoyingly which you can't predict when.
- Overtaking:
The car is designed for fuel economy and it does some shifts for you which you don't want in the middle of trying to overtake and it is very dangerous and most case I would advice you just use the manual mode of the car to avoid such.
- Climbing Hills:
When climbing a hill with the car you would require the constant use of the manual mode of the car which involves the usage of handbrake and that affects the convenience of the car.

Wednesday June 27th: Chrematophobia(Intense fear of money)
Chrematophobia is gotten from the Greek word Chremato that literally means money and phobia as we all know Fear.
I know of a saying in Nigeria that states "Money is the bicycle of the gospel" they say that in Yoruba language but that is the English interpretation. You might think it's not possible to have phobia for money when you are supposed to love money and work hard to get it although the love of "money if the rout of ALL evil" according to the Bible. I watched a Series titled Blackish, the movie is all about black rich family but the wife of the house is really scare of money and she don't like talking about it. Let me not start talking about a movie, let's see the causes and symptoms.
Causes of Chrematophobia
Having so many responsibilities brings the fear because you have to think of saving and investing. Bad investments may lead to losses that can be really devastation.
lack of money and it can lead to stress and can make a person powerless.
Having anxiety disorders can make a person fear money. Different illness like hormonal disorder, physical illness etc can cause Chrematophobia.
Symptoms of Chrematophobia
The phobia is sure when an individual is always counting his or her money.
An Individual that has this phobia never wants to talk about money and he or she avoids conversations about money.
The individual refuses to see the doctor when there is serious health issue.
