StemQ has seen a fair amount of activity since the last digest.
A good few users have contributed content and submitted interesting questions and answers.

From nuclear fusion to the melatonin hormone, the site has seen a broad range of topics covered.

Several bugs have also been fixed and the application is approaching the stability required for producing a mobile app for Android and iOS.

Work is underway to provide a roadmap to release 1.0. This roadmap will be published once complete and the overall direction of the project will become clearer to all.

Is there a more systematic approach to classical mechanics than Newtons second law?
by @maticpecovnik

Are there alternative ways to using Newton's second law to derive the equations of motion of a system under forces and constraints?

This is the question asked this week by @maticpecovnik who provides a simple application of Hamiltonian mechanics to a mass/spring problem.
