NO MORE HOT SHOWERS FOR ME!!

in #stench6 years ago

This past July I finally got the time to undertake a project I have had on my hobbitational list for a while now. The completion of outside shower would help me to avoid the dreaded squeegeeing of the tile walls of the shower in the new bathroom I had just finished several months ago.

No, I have not run out of dimes, but due to the temperatures regularly dropping below the freezing point the pipes had to be drained. Not being a plumber I didn't want to press my luck and end up with pipes exploding due to the freezing water expanding and playing havoc on the integrity of the copper.
My initial sweating of the copper joints was a total victory. There were no leaks the first time around, and I didn't want to tempt fate.

Well, I guess that if want to get a little nookie in the future I will once again have to shower indoors and complete the task of cleaning the walls of the inside shower. Oh, how I dread this little pain in my Glutous maximums chore!! Generic name,

haha! howdy bigsweed! what a great idea to put a sink outside, very practical! But the shower is so youdon't have to clean the indoors shower? like ever? I mean I guess I don't understand the importance of having an outdoor shower but I'm sure you have a good reason.

Still have to clean inside shower, but the tedious job of wiping the walls down after ever shower is a pain in the ass. Don't use in summer, then there is no reason to have to squeegee. Most days on the farm I am doing something where by the end of the day I am a filthy mess. Showering outside I don't bring the mess with me when I enter the house, which my wife loves!

howdy today sir thebigsweed! well if the wife loves you taking a shower out there then that right there is reason enough! You probably mentioned it but how far North are you guys?

The latitude and longitude of my location in Upstate, New York is:
42° 29' 54" N / 75° 46' 5" W. This puts us about 224 miles from Niagara Falls.

howdy thebigsweed! oh man, now I know why all the snow! lol. Well it's a beautiful part of the country though!

This is alluring and appealing.

That's a new one.

The thought of an out door shower sounds so liberating! You sure have a cool lifestyle and constantly give me ideas and food for thought on future properties.

I gotta get out of the city to a place like yours someday.

Duel purpose also. The outside sink is great for washing off the produce we grow before bringing it into the new kitchen I just recently completed. Constructed the cabinets and all. My better half is a little OCD when it comes to a clean kitchen, which I love, not going to argue with the cook, and what a cook she is.
YOU KNOW HOW MANY WIFE POINTS I GOT FOR ADDING AN OUTSIDE SINK TO THE SHOWER GETUP.😍😍💋💋💕💕👍👍

Happy wife happy life!

You are a wise man indeed.
