Ok maybe this is stupid ... Or totally against Steemit... but should we consider hiding the dollar amount a post makes from everyone except the person making it. The reason I am suggesting it ( and please people don't flag I am just t a newbie ) is that I am wondering if you don't know the post makes that u don't try to get the curation reward

@ealbania, that doesn't stop the rewards being taken away from everyone else. The problem will increase if we choose to ignore it.
Yep, I get it. I am just trying to brainstorm. I love Steemit, and I want to make sure this not just another Myspace or Facebook.

it's a blockchain. everybody's actions are open for all to see. you could remove it from the UI - and then someone else could just make a tool (there's already a dozen that do it) that will display the amounts...
