Stillness is the place you find when you quiet the mind. You quiet the mind my observing yourself. It takes practice, but it gets easier with practice.
Stillness is the place where all possibilities exist. It is a place of vast, infinite spaciousness. It is the place where great intelligence within you lies.
Try this: Try to sit quietly for a minute. Count your thoughts. How many did you have in about one minute's time? This is a good place to begin even becoming aware of how busy our minds are. Once you begin to become aware of the way we fill up our "being" i.e. stillness, spaciousness, with constant "doing," you can begin to understand how there is no place for true knowing, great intelligence to guide us.
you mean meditating?
Well, yes. But by meditating I just mean calming the mind, becoming aware of our thoughts, then observing our thoughts, and the consequences that they have within our own bodies and then, of course, in the world.
