I am new (inactive for two years or so, just recently active) to steemit and I would just like to say that I have come in with no expectations other than to learn and share. Not that I'm some saint, I'd love to make money to support the fam and supplement my income. Maybe even go full time like youd mentioned. But that is a nice by-product. Not the ends. This is a perfect medium to get to open minds with the information I have accrued throughout the years, as well as find open minds who have gained even more knowledge than I. Every cent I make, every one follower that I gain, every rep point I attain is a little confidence boost on the path to whaleness. But like I said, it is not the end. It is a means to an end or even just a great by-product. This platform is so important to circumventing the centralized systems of FB and other socials. What we are doing here is important in and of itself, SBD aside. Until then, I will continue on my main objective: to learn and share. Thank you for learning me
