It was after this Jamal remembered Amanda was not even alone when he came outside. She was actually with somebody. He lifted up his eyes tomeet her, Jamal’s eyes spun for milliseconds before adjusting them properly on Tamara. Her beauty was making his eyes to turn. For she was beautiful for the blind to see it and even for the dumb to scream it.
Tamara stretched her hands for a shake. “Hi.” She said, mustering all her energy to stop herself from screaming how dazzling Jamal was.
“I’m sorry Khalid, I think it’s high time I forgot about you. I’ve finally found someone else I loved more than you.” Tamara pleaded in her heart to Khalid.
She was now sure her heart had finally made her choice, Khalid wasn’t included.
Jamal received the shake. “Hi, I’m Jamal.” he replied, flaunting his smile that was already getting Tamara drooling.
“I’m ..mmm …” Tamara was finding it difficult to give out her name. As much as she wanted to give her real name, Adriana’s warning kept looping at the back of her mind. She couldn’t afford to let her snag her daughter
into pieces like she threatened; and moreover they were now back at Laraba.
“I’m Daisy.” Tamara finally said.
