Dear Michelle, I just read everything here and I would LOVE to participate, BUT... I'm in the middle of an exam preparation (March 6th) so I have to stay away from fun stuff now :) I'm not native English, so just to be sure: is it ok if I only join after the 6th? Maybe I'll find the time to write an introductory post earlier, but I'm not sure about that. Thank you for letting me know how to proceed, I only want to commit to something I can really do. Please don't worry about time constraints. Study for your exams and good luck!
Then, when you're less stressed and ready to go, come and join in. You can either do all the projects at your own speed and catch up, or skip one or two (please do the intro first) and go back to them when / if you want to.
This is all supposed to be fun, so no pressure.
