We have enough time he always said
Enough time to do the things we couldn't do today
Procrastination was the order of the day
He was multi talented but they say, procrastination is a killer of talents.
Ideas never ceased coming, plans piled up
So much on the to do list.
Yet he kept saying, there is time
But little did he know that time was no friend of man
Seconds turned into minutes, minutes turned into hours, hours into days, days into months, and then a year was gone.
Slowly slowly the end came.
The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of our elaborate plans
The end of everything that stands, the end.
Many regrets, lots of unfulfilled plans
While many wailed, many others were joyous because they accomplished a lot...

Oh 2017... I will never look into your eyes again
A year filled with lot of opportunities
The year is over but the memories lurks around the corner... Bitter sweet memories we might never forget. The new friends we made, the old ones whose friendship grew stronger and the ones that left but after imprinting a lot on our minds and heart, most especially the family that stood by us in every situation.
The embarrassing moments, the good times, the bad times and the time with special people are unforgettable.

Now the bells are tolling
A year is dead.
And my heart is slowly beating the Nunc Dimittis to all my hopes and mute yearnings of a year
And ghosts hover round dream beyond dream
Dream beyond dream
Mingling with the dying
Bell sounds fading into memories
Like rain drops
Falling into a river.
And now the bells are chiming
A year is born
And my heart-bell is ringing in a dawn.
But it's shrouded things I see dimly stride
On heart canopied paths to a riverside.
