Hello my dear friend. I'm going to share one of the most famous inspirational story about Helen Keller. It will definitely inspires you a lot. After very long time I came on steemit sorry for my absence coz, my exams are going on. It is my first post. Hope you like it.
Autobiography of Helen Keller
Helen Keller was initially hesitant in writing her autobiography because it was a difficult task. It was really difficult to remember the incidents of her past and some experiences appeared to be fanciful and part of a fantasy. She had faced both joys and sorrows but the tinge of sadness has disappeared with the passing of time. She couldn't recapitulate all the incidents of her past, so she has mentioned the ones which were more interesting and important.
Birth and family background of Helen Keller
Helen Keller was born on June 27, 1880,in Tuscumbia, a little town of North Alabama. Her father has descended from Caspar Keller,a native if Switzerland, who had settled in Maryland. Her grandfather was Casper keller's son and settled in Alabama, where he owned large tract of land. Her grandmother was the daughter of Alexander Moore. Her father, Arthur H. Keller, was a captain in the Confederate Army and Helen's mother was his second wife.
Helen’s early home
Helen's father had built a small house after the Civil war. It was covered with many beautiful and sweet smelling flowers like roses and honeysuckles and climbing vines. It was the favourite place of birds and bees. There was a Rose bower nearby and Helen’s early memories considered it a heaven. Helen would be guided by the smell of flowers and she happily wandered in this garden.
