C H A P T E R | 10
I felt like someone had just knocked the air out of me. James had caused the exorcism. Anger filled me. He had lied to me! I got choked up. “You! You–” I couldn’t even come up with the right words.
James sat up and looked at me. “What’s wrong?”
“You liar!” Tears poured down my face as I stumbled out of bed. I tore the sheet from the bed and wrapped it around myself. “You!” I cried. “You took Thomas fro-from me!”
James sat in bed silently. I picked his shirt up off the floor and threw it at him.
“I can explain—it’s not what you thi-”
“Out!” I screamed. “I want you out!” I wiped my face with the bed sheet so I could see, but the tears flooded my vision.
“I c-can explain,” said James, starting to sound choked up too.
I sobbed. “How?” I said, devastated.
“I don’t want to lose you,” he cried.
I covered my face with my hands. I was heartbroken. I felt foolish for being fooled. I sat on the edge of the bed and buried my face in a puddle of sheets.
“I can’t lose you,” he said. “Not again.”
I sat up and looked at him. “What do you mean ‘again?’”
James looked at me with haunted eyes. Tears flowed down his face. I saw a look flash across his face that was strangely familiar.
James reached over to grab my hand. “It was the only way.”
I shook my head and looked away from him. “I-I don’t understand.”
James reached over and turned my head toward his. “Don’t you get it?” he said. “It’s me, Thomas.”

Time Travel
I would travel to the future, find out the outcome of sports games, elections, stock performances, and anything else I can make money on.Oh yeah, and while I’m there, I would probably pick up a jet pack and a machine that cures all illnesses......... Isn't it great @artist1989
