Here I explain a little about the definition of ethnomusicology. according to a large Indonesian dictionary (KBBI) Ethnomusicology is a comparative science of music that aims to gain an understanding of the history of origin, development and distribution of music in various countries of the world. The event was also attended by several generations including 2014, 2015 and 2016, and even alumni willing to come all the way from Bireuen. This is the ultimate goal of attending open events with anthropology departments. The music played in this afternoon's show was very memorable and entertaining for us. In the event the songs are sung are religious songs. This activity is my first time watching. Rarely is this event let alone packed in activities to wait iftar. Very unique and creative, making the heart and ears relaxed and comfortable. The sunset divay echoed, we rushed to prepare takjil. Some bring their own food and some order food. This is where I feel the togetherness that is intertwined. As if apart from race and tribe. It's 6:55 pm, it's time we go home and part with friends there. Hopefully this iftar event can bring benefits for us. How happy the togetherness in the month of Ramadan, may Allah give blessing for us all. Amen!
