RE: Acceptance

I've been doing this for quite some time now. My best advice, invest in a good salon set of clippers. My wife gives mine a buzz each week before I shower and then I am good to go. I'd be afraid to see what actually grows back if I were to try it at this point in my life.

I'm really liking the low maintenance aspect of this. Thanks for the advice! I think a weekly trim is about what I'll need too. My wife has a good clipper she bought during the pandemic to cut her own hair so I'm prepared. Do you wear a hat outside or use sunscreen?

That is good that you have a set. I know what makes a ton of different models, but the cheaper ones don't hold up like the more expensive ones. I try to wear a hat as much as possible. I have a junk boonie hat for mowing the lawn and then several ball caps. I think you could rock a fedora. This might open a whole new look for you!

I think she got a pretty good set during the pandemic because we weren't sure how long we'd have to cut her own hair. I've never worn a fedora but have plenty of ball caps and a few flat caps.

That is cool!
