THE DIVORCE

4:50 pm
At the Austins' house
Collins: ugh, dad?
Richard: yeah?
Collins: I invited few friends over to study......hope you don't mind?
Richard: Oh-kay....maybe they'll join us for pizza
Collins: wow you ordered for pizza?
Richard: yeah (Danielle enters the living room)
Danielle: (shouts) yay pizza
Kira: ( storms out of her room) I heard the pizza
Collins: yeah....dad's ordering for pizza
Randy : (enters with Daniel) oh-kay you guys we're back
I only got ice-cream for the twins
Danielle: yay ice-cream
Kira: (referring to herself and Collins) Wah'bout us?
Collins: yeah we love ice cream too
Randy: you two should have grown past that kind of ice cream by now.....its for kids
Kira: mum?
Randy: Kira? (Kira shrugs)
Daniel: Danielle let's go play our favorite game while taking the ice-cream
Danielle: yay chess and ice-cream (they run after one another into their room)
Randy: don't worry I'll get everyone's ice-cream tomorrow....your favorites
Kira: (whining) but we want it now (someone knocks on the door)
Collins: I'll get it (another knocking) coming. (he opens the door and was taken aback by the figure in front of him)

Omigen: (wearing a dark pink top exposing her tan and black pencil jeans with pink flip flop....she just had a new hairdo) can we come in
Collins: oh....ye....yes come in (not knowing Kassim was behind her)
Kassim: (whispers) geez guy you need to have this girl before someone takes her....(taps his shoulder and enters)
Omigen: good evening mum and dad (she calls Collins' parent mum and dad since they treat her like their daughter.....her real parents are wealthy delegates that travel all the time, so she didn't really enjoy parents' love....she has a nanny Cici Williams)
Randy: oxygen dear....how are you doing?
Omigen: I'm good
Richard : how are your parents?
Omigen: very well sir
Richard: send my regards
Omigen: sure
Randy: why don't y'all sit down
Collins: thanks mum but we'd be in my room
Randy: oh-kay
Richard : oh! Look randy our favorite programme is coming on.....you guys can go....randy and I would watch this programme
Randy: (laughing) oh yeah
Collins: Oh-kay then (he leaves and the rest follow even Kira)

In Collins' room
Collins: (after explaining a topic to omigen) hope you understand it now
Omigen : (smiling) yes....infact I understood before but coming to your house was just an excuse to spend time with you (they all start laughing except collins)
Collins: what?? Anyway that's okay cus I need to talk to you about something
Kira: (smiling) should we excuse you guys??
Omigen: no you can stay
Collins: it's a private matter oxygen so they have to excuse us (Kira stands and kassim follows)
Omigen: (sits beside him and places a hand on his shoulder) oh-kay talk to me
Collins: well the thing is that.....er....i.....i really like you and I'd love for you to be my girlfriend (in his mind "what....did that just come out of my mouth?")
Omigen: (isn't surprised at all) pls pinch me
Collins: why
Omigen: I wanna know if I'm dreaming
Collins: no you're not and if you do you wanna wake up from it
Omigen: OMG (hugs him) I've been waiting for so long to hear this (picks him) I love you

In Kira's room
Kira and Kassim enters
Kassim: wow...this is the first time that I'm not reluctant to enter a girl's room and also not irritated
Kira: what exactly is ur point
Kassim: the thing is that I've entered some girls' room but I've always been irritated by it cus it's always dirty
Kira: well I'm different and don't compare me with other girls
Kassim: I'm sorry
Kira: it's oh-kay (offers him a seat while she sits on her bed) so tell me about your girl
Kassim: pardon??
Kira: I mean the girl you wanna ask out
Kassim: (sighs heavily) the truth is you're the girl
Kira: so I'm the girl that is arrogant and that you're shy of, right?
Kassim: I'm sorry I said that earlier
Kira: (smiles broadly) it's oh-kay... I know my attitude too
Kassim: well ever since what happened between you and joey I've been reluctant to ask you
Kira: the truth is that I had to do what I did to joey that day in order to send other guys away too
Kassim: but why? Cus anytime I see you my heart skips a beat or two....sometimes it beats fast (move closer to her) like right now (place her hand on his chest)
Kira: wow! You really need to calm down....its really beating fast
Kassim: yes, beating fast....for you
Kira: (blushes) I was trying to send other guys away because.....cus I....i'm actually..... I mean I actually have feelings for only you
