A year and a half ago I was overweight. I weighed 220 pounds. Then, it all changed.
I wasn't always overweight and I'm not sure when I became overweight. Actually, my biggest problem in that time was that I didn't realize how I looked. In my head I was looking like Ryan Gosling. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case...
DECEMBER 2016 VS DECEMBER 2017
Whenever I was bored, I was eating. Junk, most of the time. I had no purpose in my life. Life didn't make sense. So, around age 16 I decided to make a change. Actually, it wasn't me who decided that, but my brother. He was pushing me to the limits. I'm telling you, when he raised his voice and told me: "Do 10 more", I did 20 more, just to be safe.
At first, I HATED working out and eating healthy. I wasn't used to it, that's why it was so hard. But he kept on encouraging me and I wasn't quitting.
After a month or two I started getting compliments from my friends. At that point I got kinda addicted. This was actually working, I was getting results. It wasn't a waste of time.
Now I freaking LOVE working out. Now I'm also training boxing and I can't imagine my life without it. I constantly get questions from other people on how I did it and I quite enjoy advising those same people. I feel like they are really listening.
HOW DID IT CHANGE MY LIFE?
Well, the most important thing is that I got healthier. My high blood pressure is gone and I'm planning on keeping it that way! I look better, I feel better and I am finally seeing some improvement in my life. I think people are underestimating the power of being fit and being healthy. It completely changed my life. I am so much more confident. Especially in talking to girls. Now I actually have some success in that area. It feels nice I must say.
Before my so call "transformation" I haven't had any plans for the future. Now I do. I'm simply happier and I owe it all to my crazy brother. I swear, if it wasn't for him I would still be in depressing state of life and I wouldn't know how to get out of it.
This is a really personal story but I am proud of myself and what I have become. I'm a changed man. Boy, to be more precise.
Hopefully some of you will be motivated by my words to change your lives. It's hard but have you to make yourself know that. Results don't come overnight but they DO come. One way or another.
Dobrodosao :)

Hvala :)
I know what you mean, not realizing how far you've let yourself go till its too late. I had the same issue a few years ago. Good on you for making the change. Or, good on your brother for pushing you so hard!
Yes, that's definetly a big, big issue.
Thanks!
Good for you and your health
