Your post is too short for the payout.
Your story is VERY interesting and users will read it all the way through if it were twice as long as this. I wanted to say this earlier for another post of yours that was too short, but thought the better of it. I wanted to read more of your posts to see if it would be a pattern.
I enjoy what you write, just wish it didn't feel like a 3 panel cartoon and was more like a short story.

Thank you kindly. I certainly didn't mean for my comment to sound like a troll as this is one of the very reasons I want Steemit to succeed. It's to cut down on people being douchebags and trolling like it's commendable or worthwhile.

Also, I noticed that you didn't follow anyone yet. If you click on a user's name there will be an option to follow them or mute them. Then when you go to your personal page you can check your feed to see the new posts of those you follow.
