I remember it being a beautiful sunny summer day and I needed to clean upstairs. My cousin moved out the day before. So I grabbed what I needed to clean and brought the kids to help. While I was cleaning the kids began to fight, over four pennies. So I took the pennies and divided them up so there were two each! No more fighting. As Time passed I had my back to the window and I heard talking from my little one, when I turned around she was leaning on the window screen and it popped open! She began to fall out the window I ran over to the window and reached out as she was just rolling off the roof . Air borne she was. I wanted to jump and catch her. But all I could do was watch her fall from our second story home window screaming for help as she landed on the sidewalk on her butt. I ran past my oldest daughter and flew down the stairs screaming more "oh my god" I got to the phone called 911 and checked on my little one. She was screaming to get up! All the neighbours were around her holding her down, until the ambulance got there. As they arrived so did the police. They took my daughter to the hospital with her father. I wasn't allowed to go! The police put me in a police car and questioned me. I was a mess they were thinking I had pushed her out the window. Reporters showed up taking pictures of my house and me in the police car. After the questioning they drove me to the hospital, to see my little girl. She was so happy to see me. Only 2 years old at the time now 18. With only a scratch on the back of her leg, we walked home from the hospital. When we got home where she had fell on the sidewalk was the two pennies she had in her hand. She had an angel on her side that day!
