Only time I was ever in Dubai Airport was also the first time I ever took a shower in an airport. 11 hour layover. Considered staying in the in-airport hotel but when I saw the prices? Ha. Ha.
I settled for sleeping next to the boarding gate with my backpack for a pillow. Woke up and had a lovely conversation with this Indian guy and his Swiss wife. Good times :D
Sounds good. We too considered (for the return flight) the hotel but the prices.. haha... I did not even get a pillow nor did I meet that Indian/Swiss couple. :)
Hehehheh. It was actually very comfortable (Indian guy was already doing the same thing, I just joined him) and the view of the streets through the glass as I woke up ... wow. Dubai is definitely on the list once I start making some decent* money off Steemit. I really really want to see that Burj Kalifa double sunset.
