I had a friend, many years ago, go through roughly the same thing.
These days, though, simply looking at someone can get you charged with rape, due to the amazing stupidity of these "social justice warriors" who think that it's perfectly fine to just "destroy someone else's life because they are incapable of rational thinking" or "their feelings got hurt" or "they realized the next day it was a bad decisions that THEY MADE...so they're going to take it out on...whoever."
It belittles those who have actually suffered what can only be referred to as an attack, and mocks those who were PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED, as though "their actual pain pales in comparison to my emotional insecurities."
I hope this world grows up and starts using their collective brains again...soon.
