RE: OH CANADA!

Haha, OMG that's hilarious! It's unbelievable how our minds can play tricks on us when we're under the influence. It sounds like you may've ingested more than I did. Just like me though, you have a funny story. In the end that might just make it all worthwhile.

Sort:

Happened long before it was legal here. Most likely higher than 1000 mg of someone's homemade concoction.

It boils down to experiencing heavy anxiety and losing my sense of direction all in one go. Caught the paranoid bug and it felt like my body was shutting down. Textbook bad trip is what it was. Had the sweats and everything. People experimenting need to know that can happen.

I've had those after eating magic mushrooms as well, which is another thing soon to become legal here.

One must be careful now with all these new products and high potency. Those concentrates aren't the same as smoking. Even with proper packaging and information, still hard to control the outcome. I'll only do that stuff if I'm planning to be home and away from people.

I do laugh at myself though, after the fact. And if you give yourself an extra blast of almost unbearable anxiety, the regular everyday instances feel like a lot less of a problem.

1000mgs?!? Holy moly. You're right, each time...especially above 10mg is like rolling the dice. That's a great point about having a bad trip, it can raise your threshold for everyday stress and make the worst of it seem trivial.

One must set aside an entire day for those particular therapy sessions.

I don't recommend it unless you're a "pro." I stick to smoking it and even that's becoming a rare thing for me.

Yes, that would be wise. It's a rare thing for me too. I'll occasionally take a gummy, they're legal here in MN now.

I don't mind those 10mg gummies. Common in Canada. I'll pop a couple sometimes but I don't like sitting around waiting. Good for movies and games, and sleep.

Definitely, you have to plan ahead with them. It takes 30-45min for me usually. They've found it's a potent anti-inflammatory and I told my brother with the dose I took my body should be free of inflammation for about two years.

My ears ring. Tinnitus. Can be about the most annoying thing in the history of annoyances. Weed either smoked or eaten offers relief but that wears off if I use daily. Other times the ringing will still be there but if I smoke, I can focus without the constant noise becoming bothersome. So that's my excuse.
