This is why it's better to just dump the stuff on the internet without trying to make a direct profit from it (at least at the start). The moment you try to monitize it, they destroy your reputation, or "off" you.
I remember reading about PGP (Pretty Good Privacy), and how it was considered munitions back in the 90s if exported as software.
The inventor Phil Zimmerman, found a novel way to export PGP in the form of a book, which was protected from censorship. Or the way Satoshi (whoever "he" or "they" were)released Bitcoin, and then vanished into the ether.
I'm glad to see such thinking continue.
I totally agree. What better legacy to leave humanity than a transformative, paradigm-shifting idea.
