To often these days do I find creators creating content based off their favourite creators and content.
Does that make sense?
Don't get me wrong...I myself began my career trying my best to imitate my favourite creators. This allowed me to get a feel of different types of content and took me on a path to where I am now.
Im just not seeing anything new lately.
I want to somehow get the message across that we all are unique. We all have a unique thing about us and something to talk about. Don't be afraid to create content based on what you love rather than what you see out there on the internet.
A perfect example is my brother. He for years wanted to create a YouTube channel revolving around his love for Pokemon Cards ( he's 25 ). He was soo worried about what people would think about a 25 year old talking about Pokemon Cards on YouTube.
One day he decided to put up his first YouTube video and give it a go. The response he received was soo overwhelming positive that till this day my brother continues to grow his account.
Companies send him a tonne of Pokemon stuff for free to review on his channel. His dream came true because he took that leap of faith and created content based off what he loves.
I hope this story helps you all who are afraid of putting themselves out there to take a chance.
Below are some photos I took that help me get inspired. I hope you like them :)
Awesome pics! How did you get the overhead shots, drone? If so nice work on the composition, those things can be hard to control (or maybe I've only every played with cheap ones).
yeah I used a drone. I am a drone photographer. Yeah unfortunately you need to spend a bit of cash to get the steady ones haha
Great pics!
