Fatima did not have enough cloth to change, but Amati did not mind giving her some of her own clothes and they began to live like sisters that even the villagers could not separate anymore.
After some time, different men began to come for Fatima for either relationship or marriage, but she will tell Amati who then understood her signs that she does not intend to get married any time soon.
When it got dark, Amati arranged a place inside her house for the Lady to sleep, but before that, she asked for her name . The Lady requested for a piece of paper and wrote on it, Fatima. Amati allowed her to sleep for the night, and as they woke up the next morning, Amati expected her to leave to which Fatima did not show such intentions at all.
One thing that kept Amati bothered was the fact that she has no food to feed them all with, once the little she had gotten from the market is exhausted, there will be nothing left for them to eat anymore.However, Amati tried to hide her fears from Fatima.
When the prince of the village heard about the presence of a beautiful maiden in Amati's house, he sent his guards to inform Amati about his interest to know the Lady, but Amati did not respond to them, because she allowed them to meet Fatima by themselves and when they left, she asked Fatima about their meeting and she was told that all went well.
After few hours, the prince came by himself and Amati became afraid thinking that Fatima may have offended the guards that came earlier. By mere seeing the prince from afar, she began to beg that she was never involved in whatever might have happened, but the prince told her not to worry that his interest arose even more as the guards returned to the palace, and now, he has come to see the damsel by himself and truly she deserves all the accolades being showered on her.
