RE: OH CANADA!

in #story2 years ago

To be fair, I had a similar experience with THC gummies in Hawai'i. It turned out that one gummy was about 3 times stronger than a joint. For 3 hours, I couldn't move my arms or legs and could only crack one eye open at a time. Otherwise there would be too much light.

Unlike what SouthPark states ... don't blame Canada.

Lol, I feel less bad about my experience the more comments I read!

You couldn't move your arms or legs? Holy crap, man. Was it Indica?

I hope you were somewhere secluded. My brother was afraid he was going to have to call a taxi and try to lift me into it but thankfully I made it back under my own power.

I LOT of folks find themselves "in the weeds" with edibles. The mistake most make is not waiting long enough for them to kick in so they take more.

There was a story of a journalist in Colorado shortly after weed became legal there. She decided to try a cannabis-infused chocolate and write an article about it. She misread (or failed to read) the instructions, like me, ate the entire bar and couldn't move for over 24hrs!

I'm a pretty big fan of Canada. It's like an alternate universe compared to the US, in mostly good ways.

Yep, it was Indica. A buddy has chronic back pain - so he takes them. To be a good host, he offered me one. I was in a safe place - so I enjoyed the 3 hour buzz. But when it lifted, I knew that I would always read the label.

Lol, I've now learned that lesson too.
