I joined the queue as we all wait for the ride home
I put my earphones on
looks at my clock
looks at my phone

The ride came
the line starts to move forward
waited for my turn to enter
sat down
looks at my clock
looks at my phone

I start to wonder whats for dinner
maybe I'll just have egg or maybe nothing at all

My eyes starts to wander around
checking if I know someone....I hope no one
Too tired for small talks
I look at the door to check...no one I knew

Then she walked in....we locked eyes
Who is she? those eyes, that face....she's so pretty
I gasp internally
She walks like she has the wind with her
I stare....for a moment that felt like too long
She was nearing so I looked away...
looked at my clock
looked at my phone

I lift my head to look...
she looked...
My god....that face....she's angelic..
looked away...don't wan't to be creepy
For a moment waves of thoughts came to me
A date, a wedding, a family....with her...
I looked up... I stare....she caught me...
Tried to smile...but can't....
I looked down...
Looked at my clock
Looked at my phone

I'm almost at my stop....looked at her...She didn't see it this time....
Signaled the ride to stop...
I get ready to get out...
Be cool, be cool...walk like your cool..
walked pass her...
...looked at her before exiting
...She didn't
...Got out...stared at the ride
.........Sighed.....
